German Book Prize 2026

Dopo la pausa estiva, ripartiamo con una splendida notizia: è stata annunciata la longlist del German Book Prize 2026 e ben 17 dei 20 titoli selezionati sono rappresentati dalla nostra agenzia per il mercato italiano! La giuria ha scelto i venti romanzi tra 205 libri esaminati.

Di seguito l'elenco, in ordine alfabetico per autore, dei nostri titoli: 

Dalla motivazione della giuria: “Exploring the past in order to understand the present – this can be found in very different ways in our selection of the novels of the year 2026. We have included fragmentary forms of compelling complexity as well as great, gripping narratives spanning long periods of time. We are particularly impressed by the way in which distinctive and illuminating biographical multilingualism gives rise to literary richness. With a strong sense of style, innovative approaches and, at times, a good deal of humour, the authors reveal the vulnerability of their characters and accompany them as they set out towards a different future. How are we supposed to find our way in a world in which uncertainty is spreading? We are convinced: reading helps. These are the books for that.”

La shortlist di sei titoli sarà annunciata l’8 settembre, mentre il vincitore dell'edizione 2026 sarà proclamato il 5 ottobre, in occasione dell’apertura della Fiera del Libro di Francoforte.
